As Covid-19 cases continue to decline rapidly locally and throughout the state, Indiana University will implement a mask-optional policy beginning March 4, 2022. This policy will coincide with the anticipated expiration of state and county public health orders, and was made after consultation with IU specialists in public health, medicine, and public safety. All who wish to continue to wear a mask are encouraged to do so.

Masks will still be required in:

• Clinical settings, such as Covid-19 testing locations and the Student Health Center
• Research settings where masking is required by outside entities
• Campus buses (federal mandate)
• Areas where masks were required prior to the pandemic

Beginning July 1, 2021, both the Graduate School Foreign Language Exam (GSFLE) and the Music First Year Language Exam (MFYLE) will be offered during scheduled group test dates and by individual appointment upon demand. Exam fees for group test dates will be $21.20 per exam for both the GSFLE and the MFYLE. Exam fees for individual appointments will be $53.00 per exam.
